Mentoring girls and boys in the STEAM areas can make a lifetime difference and help close the achievement gap between boys and girls.

What are you going to do?

  • Mentors will support a small team of girls or boys who wish to continue their 7 month STEAM + Entrepreneurship problem solving project after attending a Robothon. The selection of your team depends on your expertise. You facilitate the group and guide them towards solving the challenge. Each challenge comes from the SDGs of some of the world’s biggest challenges. Technology must be part of the solution.

How often will you meet?

  • Mentors meet their groups regularly for 6-7 months, either in person or via Skype. As a mentor, you want to set a pace that creates momentum and supports girls or boys when they need extra effort. Girls and boys are invited to pitch their ideas at the Robothon. You are invited to attend, but it is not a requirement.

Who can register?

  • Anyone with science, engineering, math or entrepreneurial knowledge who wants to be a positive role model for girls or boys can become a mentor.

How do you sign up?

  • Fill out the form below and tell us your story. Please keep it short. Who are you, your education, your work experience and where you are now. And what motivates you to become a mentor for ICE-Bots? We will contact you within a few days.
